Nalla Sundararajan, the President of the Board, moved to India in 2009 (after having lived in the US for 30 years) and works with destitute women and victims of prostitution / trafficking / violence in Chennai. She oversees operations of the organization, leads board meetings, promotes the organization, and accomplishes the tasks assigned to her in accordance with the Bylaws. Nalla has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Masters degree in Communication Studies from the US, and was a lecturer for 10 years. She also volunteered several years as a spokesperson and fundraiser for domestic violence Shelters, including WATCH (Women and their Children’s Housing) and Heritage Home, in San Jose, California.
